Tim CheN | MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Tim Chen is an entrepreneur and multinational executive with extensive experience and track record in investments, business development and operations in the areas of mining and steel, energy and technology. Since 1996 Tim worked for companies in the US where he lived for 22 years holding positions as CEO, executive director and member of the exploration and joint ventures boards with Brazilian and major international firms and banks. Tim is the CEO of Top Ventures Investimentos S/A in Brazil, an investment and business development firm and a founding member of Top Capital Partners in Brazil. Tim holds a BSc in Business Administration and Marketing and International Business from The American University in Washington, D.C. and has a specialization in Advance Corporate Finance from Fundação Dom Cabral. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Amcham-The American Chamber of Commerce-Belo Horizonte, member of APIMEC- MG (Capital Markets Professionals Assoc.), IMMC (Minas Institute of Capital Markets), Endeavor mentor and Startup Brazil’s Techmall and AceleraMGTi Accelerators. Tim Chen has Chinese (Taiwan), American and Brazilian citizenships.

Augusto Carneiro has a degree in Business Administration from IBMEC and an MBA in Finance, Audit and Controlling from FGV-Fundação Getúlio Vargas, an MBA in Hospitality from Senac, Specialization in Advanced Corporate Finance from FDC-Fundação Dom Cabral and the Finance Institute of New York, and a Board Member Specialization by IBGC Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance. He is a founding partner of Top Capital Partners, Director of the Council of Presidents in Minas Gerais, a founding partner of Top Participações Ltda and a member of Advisory Boards of various companies in diverse segments. Augusto possesses over 10 years of experience in coporate finance and management. He served as Chief Investment Officer of LHG, Financial Manager/CFO of Araujo Drugstore group and as a senior management consultant at INDG (Falconi)- Management Development Institute. His experience spans several industries such as Hospitality, Tourism, Education, Health, Mining, Automotive, Logistics, Public Administration and Financial Markets. Augusto has a CFP Certified Financial Planner certification and CPA-20 ANBIMA.
